JILL ASP
Minnesotan born and raised, Jill has always been what some might call a good ol’ fashioned dreamer. From the get-go, she was quite certain she would follow in the footsteps of her childhood idol, ONJ (that’s Olivia Newton-John for the not-so-savvy). Day in, day out Jill would work hard at her craft by singing, dancing & acting all from atop of the pooltable found in the basement of her family’s suburban rambler. People, watch out - in her eyes, she was what they call a true triple threat!
After finally realizing there might be a few other things she could do with her life, she finished up school to become a graphic designer…then continued to work her ass off as a bartender/server saving up enough money so she and one of her best friends could backpack through Europe together. Her friend ended up backing out of the trip and still, to this day, it will always be one of the best decisions she’s ever made…buying the solo ticket to Europe and spending +3 months zigzagging her way across multiple European countries, cities & towns!
Eventually she made her way back to Minneapolis and dipped her toe into the graphic design world. After a layoff, she wandered over into the post production producer side of the creative world thinking it would be a “quick dip in the pool and then back into the creative side ya go, dear” (said with the Ms. Doubtfire accent and a lil’ pat on the bum). Well, it has evolved into something she never would have imagined for herself. Some +15 years later, and here she is still producing and still in the creative world she loves oh so much. Really, so grateful to have wandered down this path working with creative, smart, strong people that make her laugh everyday!
